Decimal Precision

These settings are used to control the decimal precision that is displayed for Costs, Sell Prices and Inventory Quantities.

Instructions for changing decimal precision

  1. Navigate to Administration ➤ System Setup ➤ Inventory & Marketing to find these settings.
  2. Change the Cost, Sell and/or Quantity decimal precision setting.
    • Cost and Sell can not be set lower than 2 decimal places.
    • The upper limit for all settings is 10 decimal places.
  3. Save System Setup.
  4. Restart the AcctVantage Server app.
  • Cost: The number of decimal places that will display for costs.
  • Sell: The number of decimal places that will display for sell prices.
  • Quantity: The number of decimal places that will display for quantities.
