Important notes about AV 2027
4D v21 introduces a new network layer called QUIC. This network layer offers better overall stability and includes seamless network-switching, which means clients will not disconnect when switching from ethernet to wifi or vice-versa.
We highly recommend to use the QUIC network layer ➤ INSTRUCTIONS HERE.
The warning below carries over to AV 2027 only if you haven't already updated to the current AV 2025 version. If you've already updated to AV 2025.2.0 or later, you can ignore this.
AcctVantage 2025 introduced a new feature for exporting data to a MySQL database.
If you're upgrading from AV 2025.2.0 or prior, this upgrade will take longer than usual while the system updates the database to support this feature. We highly recommend you begin the upgrade at the end of the business day and allow it to run after hours to minimize disruption. The actual time required for this process is dependent on your database size and server hardware.
