AcctVantage ERP Client Install Instructions (Windows)
These instructions describe the process to install the AcctVantage ERP Client Application.

Download the Installer
You will first need to download the AV Client installer (if you haven't done so already). Click on the Windows folder and download the AV 2023 Windows Client.zip file.
Install Instructions
Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All to unzip it.
Open the unzipped folder and double-click the AV Client Installer.
Click Yes if you see the following Windows dialog.
Leave the Destination Folder as the default location -- C:\Program Files (x86)\AcctVantage ERP Client -- and then click Install.
If you are upgrading your AV Client from a previous version, you may see a message asking if you want to overwrite the files. You are safe to proceed here.
If you want to preserve the old AV Client, you will need to rename the folder prior to running the new installer.
Installation Completed!
Click Close on the installer. Now you can launch the AV Client and connect to the AV Server.
Launch the AV Client and connect to the AV Server
Navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\AcctVantage ERP Client directory and find the AcctVantage ERP Client application. Double-click it to connect to the AV server.
Since this is the first time this client version is connecting to the AV server, you will see some "synchronizing" and "decompressing" progress bars. This is totally normal and should only occur the first time you launch the client.
