Use Default Ship Via when changing Ship To Address

This setting controls the behavior of Ship Via that is assigned to a Sales Order when the Ship To Address is changed.

  1. Navigate to Administration -> System Configuration.
  2. Select Ship To from the drop-down menu.
  3. Find the setting Use Default Ship Via.
  4. Double-click the setting to change the value.
    • Ask: User will be prompted to apply the Ship Via associated with the Ship To Address. See example below.
    • Always: The system will automatically apply the Ship Via associated with the Ship To Address. This mirrors the system's behavior prior to the addition of this setting.
    • Never: The system will keep the existing Ship Via applied to the Sales Order.
  5. Save System Configuration.
