Restore From a Backup File

If you need to roll back to a previous version of your data here's how.

1. Make note of the Backup File Destination Folder

2. Open the AV Single User application

Note: The AcctVantage Single User Application is located in this directory: Applications/AcctVantage 2012 Server/Single User

5. Select the Destination of the Restored Data File

5. Select the Destination of the Restored Data File

Select the destination for the restored Data File and then click the Restore button.

Note: When AV finishes restoring the backup, the Single User application will quit. This is to be expected.

6. Start the AV Server Application

When you point to the Data File and click Continue, the AV Server application will open like normal. The AV Clients can now connect.
