Warehouse Transfer Receiving
Warehouse Transfers that have been entered via the desktop AV Client can be received either via AV Mobile or the desktop client. These instructions are for receiving the transfer via AV Mobile.
Warehouse Transfer entry
This process must begin with a warehouse transfer that has previously been entered & saved via the desktop AV Client. The AV Mobile interface only supports warehouse transfer receiving.
1. Enter the warehouse transfer details
Standard warehouse transfer entry rules are applicable here. See below for a few additional prerequisites.
The following are required in order for the warehouse transfer to be eligible for receiving via AV Mobile:
- Picked Date > 00/00/00 (i.e. the transfer has been picked)
- Shipped Date > 00/00/00 (i.e. the transfer has been shipped)
- Received Date = 00/00/00 (i.e. the transfer has not been received)
- Transfer Qty > 0
2. Find the warehouse transfer ID
After saving the warehouse transfer, find the ID by clicking the info button. This is example is how you would need to do this manually. See below for an automated option.
A more automated example would include printing a warehouse transfer pick ticket document that includes the ID in scannable barcode format. Contact AV Support to discuss modifying a standard warehouse transfer form for this purpose.
Receive the warehouse transfer via AV mobile
1. Open the warehouse transfer
Log in to the AV Mobile interface then navigate to Warehouse Management -> Warehouse Transfers and select Receive.
2. Select the receiving warehouse
Select the warehouse that is listed as the To Warehouse on the original transfer.
3. Enter or scan the warehouse transfer ID
If you have a warehouse transfer pick ticket with the ID on it, enter it here. If the ID is in a scannable barcode format, scan the barcode here.
4. Receive the inventory
Each of the warehouse transfer line items will be listed here. Check the Verify box for each line item that is to be received. Click Save to complete the warehouse transfer receiving process.
Click the ➕ to see more details about the line item (product name, UM, Lots)
5. The warehouse transfer is complete
After clicking Save, you should see a notification indicating that the transfer has been saved.
