The AV Mobile Inventory Adjustment process is intended for the Warehouse Management team to be able to adjust inventory quantities remotely. When an adjustment is made, the system will automatically create Inventory Maintenance transactions to account for the adjustment. See below for the types of adjustments.
-
Count:
- A user COUNTS the total number of units on-hand. The system will compare the count quantity vs. the quantity on-hand in the count warehouse and will automatically create the appropriate add or draw adjustment.
- If the count results in a draw, inventory will be drawn on a FIFO basis (i.e. taken from the oldest existing lot(s)).
- If the count results in an add, inventory will be added to a brand new lot.
- The add or draw will be made against the *External Inventory Adjustment* account.
