Inventory Levels for Warehouse Transfers

This article describes what happens to Inventory Levels (in both the From and To Warehouses) at each stage of the Warehouse Transfer process.

To replicate these values, make sure you have Reserved Warehouse Transfer set to be Excluded from Available (this is done in Administration > System Setup > Inventory & Marketing).

Req Qty (i.e. Requested Quantity) is not required on a Warehouse Transfer. Entering a value into the Req Qty field does not change Inventory Levels at any status. This field is for reporting purposes only.

Trsf Qty (i.e. Transfer Quantity) is the value that drives these changes in Inventory Levels.
