Warehouse Transfers - Automatic
The Auto Warehouse Transfer function evaluates stock levels in a selected From Warehouse and To Warehouse and attempts to balance the on-hand inventory according to established Min/Max stock levels.
- Items overstocked in the From Warehouse and understocked in the To Warehouse are processed for transfer.
- Warehouse Transfer records are created to indicate which items should be moved.
- The user may modify or cancel these transfers prior to shipping.

1. Set Minimum and Maximum Stock Levels
For each Product/Warehouse combination:
- Click on the Inventory tab of the Product record
- Set the Minimum Stock and Maximum Stock levels.
2. Run the Balance Inventory utility
- Highlight the Product(s) in the Product window.
- Open the Action Menu and select Balance inventory between warehouses.

Highlight the Warehouse you want to transfer Inventory FROM and click Select.
2.3. Please select a Warehouse to transfer to...
Highlight the Warehouse you want to transfer Inventory TO and click Select.

3. Complete the Warehouse Transfer
From this point you will complete the Warehouse Transfer as normal. Enter Shipped and Received dates and any other relevant data and Post the document.
Note: The Memo references the fact that this transaction was created by the Warehouse Balance Feature.
