Inventory Adjustment

The AV Mobile Inventory Adjustment process is intended for the Warehouse Management team to be able to adjust inventory quantities remotely. When an adjustment is made, the system will automatically create Inventory Maintenance transactions to account for the adjustment. See below for the types of adjustments.

  • Count:
    • A user counts the total number of units on-hand and inputs this via AV Mobile.
    • The system will compare the count quantity vs. the quantity on-hand in the count warehouse and will automatically create the appropriate add or draw adjustment.
    • The add or draw will be made against the External Inventory Adjustment account (System Setup > Inventory & Marketing).
  • Scrap:
    • A user enters a quantity of existing stock to SCRAP and the system creates the adjustment.
    • The draw will be made against the Scrap Default account (System Setup > Inventory & Marketing).
  • Add:
    • A user enters a quantity to ADD to stock and the system creates the adjustment.
    • The add will be made against the External Inventory Adjustment account (System Setup > Inventory & Marketing).
  • Draw:
    • A user enters a quantity to DRAW from stock and the system creates the adjustment.
    • The draw will be made against the External Inventory Adjustment account (System Setup > Inventory & Marketing).
